Member Dues Assistance

On Friday, March 20, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the AREA Board of Directors announced a 25 per cent decrease in 2020 AREA member dues and a payment extension until August 1, 2020.

AREA 2020 dues are now $281.25 + GST, reduced from $375 + GST.

For AREA members whose primary local Board is CREB or RAE:

• If you have already paid your dues in full, your local Board will provide you a credit of $93.75 + GST that can be applied to local Board dues or fees.

For AREA members whose primary local Board is not CREB or RAE:

• If you pay your dues in quarterly installments, the April 1 withdrawal of AREA dues ($93.75 + GST) will be suspended, with the next installment due August 1. (Please note that CREA quarterly dues will be processed on April 1 and July 1 as scheduled.)
• If you have already paid your dues, a credit of $93.75 + GST will be applied to your AREA account for next year’s dues.
