AREA’s Administrative Justice Program, as outlined in AREA’s Bylaws, is designed to address commission disputes, violations of the REALTOR® Code, Provincial Practice Rules and conduct issues that originate from violations of Provincial Practice Rules. This provincial wide program will allow for a consistent experience for all members, regardless of geography.
All AREA members can file complaints with the provincial program.
Read the Submitting a Complaint guide to get started. Members must complete the Administrative Justice Complaint Form and email it to email@example.com.
The Administrative Justice Program will have a pool of qualified REALTORS® to act as hearing panelists. Panelists will include members from all local Boards/Associations and will meet the following criteria:
Panelists serve a term of two years. Time commitments include:
Panelists will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete AREA’s Administrative Justice training program.
