Charlie Ponde Memorial Scholarship

AREA is introducing a new scholarship program intended to support and inspire the next generation of REALTORS®: the Charlie Ponde Memorial Scholarship.

Charlie Ponde embodied the best virtues of the REALTOR® Code, always treating his peers and clients with kindness, integrity and respect. He was instrumental in industry advocacy efforts for decades and always a champion for REALTOR® professionalism and education.

The scholarship will be open to children or grandchildren of AREA members planning a career in real estate and will be awarded yearly to two deserving candidates, who will each receive access to AREA’s full suite of licensing education and $1,500 towards the licensing costs.
