2018 Governance Committee

AREA is looking for additional members to join the 2018 Governance Committee.

Minimum criteria for consideration: 

• Minimum of four (4) years of governance experience as a Director and/or committee member, experience outside of the real estate industry will be considered. 
• Knowledge of real estate governance structure at all three (3) levels
• Availability to commit to a one (1) year term. Meeting frequency to be determined
• AREA will reimburse travel expenses for committee members according to the AREA Travel Expense Policy

The time commitment consists of at least 2 in-person meetings prior to AREA's May 2018 Leadership Forum, attendance at AREA's May 2018 Leadership Forum, the meeting schedule is TBD, subsequent meetings may be attended either in-person or via video conference call.   

If you are interested in joining the 2018 AREA Governance Committee, please send AREA a letter outlining your interest to communications@albertarealtor.ca by February 28, 2018.

AREA's current Governance Committee will conduct interviews and will select a total of three (3) new committee members. A governance expert will be engaged by the committee to assist and carry out the review work for 2018.
